This gorge is located in the national park of the same name. You can hike through the gorge for about 16 kilometers, passing an abandoned village along the way. At its narrowest, the gorge is just 4 meters wide.

Chania is the second largest city on Crete and has likely been inhabited since Neolithic times. In addition to its beautiful monuments and archaeological sites, the area offers plenty of opportunities for sunbathing, swimming, rock climbing, cycling, and other outdoor activities.
